The Common Space. Studies in Theatre and Performance History egy tanulmánykötet, amely Közép- és Kelet-Európa színházi kultúráit vizsgálja több mint három évszázadon keresztül, egészen napjainkig. A tanulmányok nemcsak a hivatásos színház intézményesülésének folyamatát dokumentálják, hanem azokat a folytonosságokat és töréspontokat is kiemelik, amelyek meghatározták a térség színházi kultúráját – a hivatásos társulatok paraliturgikus és oktatási előzményeitől a modern rendezői gyakorlatokig.

Karunk négy oktatója is tanulmánnyal járult hozzá a kötethez:Katalin Ágnes Bartha, Kata Demeter, Anca Hatiegan és Andrea Tompa.

The Common Space. Studies in Theatre and Performance History is a collective volume devoted to the study of Central and Eastern European theatre cultures across more than three centuries up to the present day. The essays not only document the institutionalization of professional theatre, but also highlight the continuities and ruptures that have shaped theatrical culture in the region—from paraliturgical and educational precursors of professional companies to modern directorial practices.
Four members of our faculty also contributed to the volume with scholarly studies: Katalin Ágnes Bartha, Kata Demeter, Anca Hatiegan and Andrea Tompa.
